Meet Our Westchester Coordinator:

Sophie Lee

Sophie is an author of books for children and young adults. Her first novel, What Things Mean, won the Grand Prize at the 2014 Scholastic Asian Book Awards and is one of the first young adult stories about the Philippines to have been published by Scholastic. What Things Mean was included in the Philippine Daily Inquirer's Top 10 Books of 2016. Her second book, Soaring Saturdays, won 2nd Prize at the Samsung KidsTime Authors' Awards (2015). She received her MFA in Creative Writing for Children and Young Adults at The New School in New York City.

We're excited to offer a workshop designed for writers north of the big city. This Mixed Genre workshop is open to fiction, non-fiction, playwriting, poetry, and whatever else you’d like to bring to the writing table!

Sessions last for one hour, but we're happy to accommodate longer sessions if desired.
